Propel Northside Treats Student of The Month Like A Celebrity!

Propel Northside Charter School opened in 2011 and exists to serve and educate youth in grades K-8. One of the key things Propel Northside believes in is serving the youth. They want to inspire and uplift the students, even outside of the classroom. A unique way that Propel Northside serves its students, is by the use of their 'Student of the Month' program. This is a newly developed program that only takes place at Propel Northside. The program began through Community Engagement Specialist, Dolores Thrower and a local funeral home. With the use of the 'Student of the Month' program. Propel staff chooses two students a month that will be highlighted and praised for their academics, leadership, and good behavior. The two students get to choose a family member or friend that get to be picked up by the funeral home limousine, taken to breakfast, and then driven to school, and embraced by a red carpet staff and students when getting to school. Front Paige Me staff take our hats off to Propel for implementing such an extra cute way to highlight students!
