Tiffany's On Wood is Open For Business!

Friday July 7, 2017 Kayla Lee @chucki_lee held her grand opening for 'Tiffany's On Wood!' Her salon is officially open and ready for business at address: 720 Wood Street Pittsburgh, Pa. 15221. Salon owner Kayla said, "It didn't hit me until the day of the grand opening that it was real. I've been working towards this for years. Doing hair for as long as I can remember. I feel good, I feel blessed, and I'm excited for this next step in my career." The grand opening began where family and friends gathered outside of the salon at 5:30pm. Kayla's father Gerald Lee started with prayer and giving his kind words towards his daughter's success. Then everyone anxiously waited and counted down for Kayla to cut the red ribbon with her gold glitter pair of scissors. After the ribbon was cut, all the guest went inside to see 'Tiffany's On Wood' for the first time! The salon was draped in Tiffany blue, white, gray, silver, and gold. "I'm so proud of my daughter. She's been obsessed with doing hair since the age of 4 years old. I look back and remember when I had thought I lost Kayla inside of our big house when she was just a young toddler. And when I found her she had fallen asleep in her closet doing her baby doll's hair. It's amazing how our intricate gifts that God places inside of us come out in such an early age. And look at her now. I'm just so proud," Carol Lee said. Deserts were in every corner for guest to enjoy, Kayla also began scheduling appointments for people to get their hair done, the DJ played music while everyone basked in Kayla's success. Pass the tissue box because dry eyes no longer existed when family and friends gave their heartfelt speeches and gifts to Kayla. It was a magical moment.
