Style Awards Re-cap! #StyleWeekPittsburgh

By: Paige K. Mitchell The STYLE Awards took place Friday August 18, 2017 at Alloy 26. The doors opened at 6:30pm, and the event went on until after 10pm. Winners were selected from seven different categories. People of the city had the opportunity to vote for each category, leading up to the STYLe Week. Categories consisted of; Photographer of the Year, Blogger of the Year, Boutique of the Year, Hair Salon of the Year, Designer of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, and Innovator of the Year. Kyshira Moffett was named, Entrepreneur of the Year (2017) during the award ceremony. "You are looking at the STYLE Week Pittsburgh, Entrepreneur of the Year. Thank you to everyone who voted for me," Kyshira said. The Queens closet was named, Boutique of the Year. William Pittman was named, Photographer of the Year. William said, "This is an Honor. I was up against some tough competition and true photographers." After the award ceremony was over, the guest, those nominated, and award winners migrated to the cocktail hour to enjoy one another and embrace the beautiful venue.
