5th Annual Naturalista Hair Show Review !

By: Paige K. Mitchell The 5th Annual Naturalista Hair Show took place on September 16, 2017 at the Silver Spring Civic Center in Washington, D.C. "I arrived at the Naturalista Hair Show the morning of the event around 11:30am, and stayed until the end. The Day party was so nice, I had to stay for the After Show! There was so much to do! My highlights were the pamper lounge and the speed dating," Bridgette Lane said. The Naturalista Hair Show, Day Show began at 11am and continued until 5pm. This was immediately followed by the After Show that began promptly at 7pm and ended at midnight! Owner of N Natural Hair Studio, Angela Walker organized the 5th Annual Naturalista Hair Show and did a breathtaking job! "Every year I put on this event, and pour blood, sweat, and literal tears into it. And every year right before showtime I say 'I am not doing this again.' And every year I find myself increasing the number before "Annual." This was the best show yet, but I was still nervous," Angela Walker IG: @AngelaGoneSocial said. This event was truly a fun filled ladies night (but all day long lol). The Day Show consisted of a Blogger Panel, Health Panel, Pamper Lounge, Braid Bar, Hands On Makeup Tutorial, and Juice Bar. While the After Show was made up of the Men's Panel, Speed Dating, A Cooking Demo, Sip N' Paint, Adult Face Paint, Men's Grooming Lounge, Vendors, and Live Entertainment! Not to mention all of the good looking male eye candy throughout the venue. Over 1,000 women attended the event. Guests also received complimentary liquor infused cupcakes and Naturalista Hair Show Boxes full of fun beauty products. A few special guests/ social media sensations attended as well; @DerrickJaxn who sat on the Men's Panel, @Lepashandi who hosted speed dating and the panel discussion, @Hazel_Goodness, @Ronkeraji, and @Kiitana who sat on the Blogger panel, & @WatchJazzy hosted the After Show on the Main Stage. "Last night was magical! I want to thank all the people that came out to support and participate. I had an amazing time hosting and getting to know y'all. Especially with speed dating and during the men's panel," @Lepashandi said. I know event organizer Angela Walker says she's not doing this again (lol), but I'm praying she does because I'm already excited to attend again next year!
