One of the most well-known rappers in the country made a stop in the city of Pittsburgh, PA. Saturday September 23, 2017!
You may remember Lil' Wayne for hit songs like, Lollipop, Mrs. Officer, or 6 Foot 7 Foot!
Lil' Wayne has been in the business of music for years, and decided to revisit Pittsburgh since his latest appearance in 2014 at the Keybank Pavilion.
Lil' Wayne was the headliner for Pittsburgh's #1 radio station for Hip-Hop and R&B WAMO Fest at the outdoors Stage AE venue on the North Shore.
Some doubted that the city would pack the venue, but those doubts were put to shame! Lil' Wayne fans packed the house, full of energy ready to party with Tunechi.
Lil' Wayne hit the stage at 9:15pm. Before kicking off his show he gave a few words to the audience.
"I ain't sh** without the man above. And I want y'all to know that I ain't sh** without y'all (his fans)," Lil' Wayne said.
He cycled through many of his songs from his latest albums and mix tapes.
Fans were especially excited to party and celebrate with him since his recent seizure.
However, Lil' Wayne didn't let that slow him down because he still gave a show many will never forget.
At the end of the concert his entourage gave away a few signed Lil' Wayne records.
WAMO had a successful event.
