Over 1,600 Attend WAMO 100 Fall Fest!
By: Paige K. Mitchell Pittsburgh’s #1 Radio Station for Hip Hop and R&B recently held their fifth annual WAMO Fall Fest. The Fall Fest took place at the Circuit Center on the south side Sunday October 29, 2017. The event took place from noon until 5pm. Over 1,600 people attended and everyone received candy and Giveaways. Louis Wingfield said, “I’m proud of the WAMO 100 team. We put a lot of work forth for this moment, and it’s nice to see that the event was a success. It was all worth it.” WAMO 100 radio personalities hit the stage; Portia Foxx, Mike Dean, and Nigel. However, the whole WAMO family was there to help make sure the event was a success. Children of all ages filed the venue in their festive costumes. Going to each table for candy and goodies and enjoying face paint and the bounce house. Jillian Scott, “I thought it would be a good idea to bring my three little ones to this event. And it was free. We all had a good time.” The Northside Steelers cheerleading squad performed along with other dance teams, and singer Ashley graced the stage.
