Show Review of ‘Windy City Live!’

I visited ‘Windy City Live’ to conduct a show review and see what life is like behind the scenes and when the taping and media Magic begins. ‘Windy City Live’ is Chicago’s #1 daytime show that airs weekdays 1pm on Chicago’s #1 television station ABC 7. Hosted by the beautiful Valerie Warner and very fashionable Ryan Chiaverini. The two have great undeniable chemistry on set. They literally flow off of one another throughout every segment. Fun Fact: Valerie and Ryan have been hosting ‘Windy City Live’ for over five years and recently celebrated an anniversary of hosting television together. But that’s not the coolest part of my time at the show. Omari ‘Ghost’ Hardwick was in the building to promote the newest upcoming season of Power on STARZ. He also made sure that he let fans know that Ghost and Tommy will be going after the man that killed his daughter... Another Fun Fact: Omari walked right past me as I sat backstage, and I literally jumped and shouted a little bit. I was so startled but in complete awe of how incredibly handsome he is. Ladies, just know he looks even more amazing in person. Unfortunately, right after his interview with Ryan and Val, him and his team had to leave. But I enjoyed the brief encounter we had (lol). One of the most pivotal moments of the show was when ‘Windy City Live’ surprised two military veterans- Sherry Hawkins & Willie Brazell, with furniture for their new homes. ABC saw the need to collaborate with Volunteers Of America to support our troops. The show wrapped with some closing remarks, free T-Shirts, and pictures. Audience members also received tickets to attend a baseball game.
