Jeron Cares Scholarship Opportunities Available!
If you are currently a High School student interested in seeking post-secondary education, be sure to keep reading to learn how you can become a candidate for the Jeron Cares Scholarship!
This opportunity is available to High School Juniors and Seniors. All participating candidates must have a minimum 2.5 GPA, must submit a letter of recommendation, write a short biography, and submit a 750 word essay.
It is mandatory that the essay be about the negative effects of gun violence in your community, and what it means to you; or if given the opportunity to make a positive change as it relates to gun violence what would it be?
Shinora Grayson-Johnson said, “The Jeron Grayson Foundation’s 7th Annual Scholarships is available for high school seniors and juniors. Awards will be given at our 7th annual “Peace on the Greens” golf tournament held June 17th. Contact me for more information and sponsorships opportunities.”
1st place winner will receive $750.00.
2nd place winner will receive $500.00.
3rd place winner will receive $250.00.
All submissions for this opportunity are due by May 19, 2017. The deadline is crucial. Anything submitted later than May 19th will not be accepted for consideration.
