The BE Event!

Are you BEING all that you were created to BE? 200 women had the opportunity to digest these questions, and beautifully indulge in who they are and who they can BE, while at Rev. Dionne Edmonds ‘The BE Event!’ The BE Event took place at Alloy Nova Place Friday August 27, 2018 from 8:00PM until 11:00PM. “We are preparing the next generation to BE... Be who God has called them to BE and not who the world suggests they should be,” Rev. Dionne Edmonds said. As the BE Event attendees filtered into the beautifully decorated event, they had the opportunity to enjoy shopping amongst the different vendors, enjoy food, photos, and complimentary gifts! Rev. Dionne said, “Our shopping area was lit! 21 vendors and sponsors provided a variety of items and information. So thankful for everyone that partnered with us.” Sonita Bell of Sonita’s Designs said, “It was such a pleasure being a vendor at The BE Event. I had the opportunity to display my business, but more importantly had the opportunity to connect with so many beautiful women. It was an out pour of love.” “All year around Three Rivers Adoption Council talks about the urgency for families to foster and adopt our youth, but at The BE Event we had an opportunity to pass out free gifts that women can truly enjoy and bask in a Ladies night out in support of Rev. Dionne,” Director Of Three Rivers Adoption Council, Ja-Neen Jones said. Michelyn Tinor Of PGH Spot hosted, and brought Rev. Dionne Edmonds and Dr. Jackie Greene to the stage for ‘Girl Talk’ & a sermon about the beauty of BEing who we are. The women of God tackled topics about singleness, marriage, ministry, parenting, and purpose. Dr. Jackie Greene said, “God moved in a powerful way tonight! My prayer is that women were touch and empowered. There is an anointing over Rev. Dionne.” Jayla Akers said, “I appreciated how Dr. Greene opened up about her relationship with her husband Travis Greene and how she somewhat laid her purpose down to support her husband and children. I’m glad that she is practicing dentistry now and that they are making miracles in the midst of marriage.” With prayer, Girl Chat, fun ice breakers, and a selfie station; women seemed to have a wonderful time. Special thanks to; Roman Bistro To-Go, Encore Events Design, Brittany Anne’s Backdrop, Macedonia Church of Pittsburgh, Mecca Gamble, Gary White Signature Events, and the DJE Team for being driving forces to making the event breathtaking! “Again, I would like to thank everyone for being a part of this event! I had the idea to have this some time ago and I am in awe to see it come to past. I am speaking it into existence that we will be able to do this again next year. Possibly a BE conference,” Rev.
