New York Fashion Week 2018! #Review

By: Paige K. Mitchell Lights, camera, runway strutting all week long; because it’s, New York Fashion Week! New York Fashion Week is a semi-annual series of events usually lasting 7-9 days, where international fashion collections are shown to buyers, press, and the general public. Hotel rooms are booked, traffic is insane, and paparazzi is everywhere; as thousands eagerly anticipate attending fashion shows! Celebrities travel from all over the country for the chance to sit front row at Louis Vuitton, Tom Ford, Chanel, D Squared, and more! So many celebrities come to NYFW that several fashion shows are exclusively open to those in the industry. I had the opportunity to cover fashion shows presented by, The Society NYC. The Society NYC is the New York City division of the elite fashion world, who represent individuals who collaborate with prestigious international brands in art and culture. The leading fashion tour in the United States. Featuring the world’s top designers and models. Society Fashion Week kicked off Friday September 7, 2018 at 8:30PM. Guests hit the red carpet, then escorted to their seats. Well known designers- PIA Bolte Fashion, Candy Rock Couture, Kristy K. Studios, Mara Skye Couture, Michael Lombard; Calf skin and Sheep skin fashion guru-as seen in Milan| DC| Paris hit the runway to debut new fresh looks! Popular models, Mister David Hand, Rogan Solomon, and more walked the catwalk on the runway. There were 10 fashion segments throughout the evening. Displaying clothing designers from all racial backgrounds. Music provided by violinist, SVET. A true evening of glitz and glamour!
